For me, the highlight of the 2009 MVPA convention was Thursday, when five Ducks loaded onto WW2 LST325, which actually took part in the Normandy invasion in the Ohio river.

The LST, which only cruises once or twice a year, has not loaded an amphibious vehicle since it left the Greek Navy, and probably hasn't seen a Duck since Normandy..  Therefore this was a special day for the MVPA, and also for the LST crews.
